Working in partnership with Toys for Tots as truly been a rewarding experience. They not only spread good cheer through toys during the holiday season but also assist during disaster relief. We are so proud to call them our friends.
When I pass a Toys for Tots donation collection area around London before the holidays each year, I know that some of the families needing supports such as Merrymount, will also be able to see smiles and excitement in the eyes of their children.
Anishinabek Educational Institute decided to partner with Toys for Tots, this year because we saw a need within our student body. Christmas can become a financial burden to them, living on a limited student income. Toys for Tots will be a great relief for the students at this time of the year.
Our primary mission is to provide toys for every child in Canada who would otherwise go without during a major religious holiday. Our secondary mission is to offer any available toys throughout the calendar year to local emergency and social agencies as needed for children suffering from catastrophic circumstances.
